内容简介

铁路是我国国民经济的大动脉，具有点多、线长、面广的特点，这就决定了铁路安全保卫工作责任重、要求高、专业性强。铁路公安机关承担着维护铁路运输秩序、保障铁路安全畅通、确保广大旅客的生命财产安全的重要职责。在铁路公安机关管辖范围内，不仅治安问题多，违法犯罪随机性大、突发性强、社会危害面广，而且案件涉及空间广，证据形成条件差，破案难度大，使铁路公安工作具有非常鲜明的特色。随着铁路运输行业的飞速发展，铁路公安工作面临前所未有的压力和挑战，为及时总结和归纳铁路公安工作的规律和特点，进一步加强铁路公安教育的实践性和应用性，我校自2005年启动了“铁道警官高等专科学校教学内容和课程体系改革计划”，把研究铁路公安特色教材和课程作为教学改革的重点内容，组织专门人员开展铁路公安特色课程项目研究。校内各系部申报选题14个，经专家评审，确定了11项为校级特色课程研究项目。经过3年的不懈努力，陆续产生了一系列具有鲜明铁路公安特色的新课程和新教材。
