《通信运营与管理专业英语教程》不同于传统的通信专业英语,针对职业特点,降低了难度,紧扣“即学即用”,突出口语的重要性。《通信运营与管理专业英语教程》首先安排了3个准备单元,收录专业常用的词汇、表达和简短的职业会话;正文12个单元中,前10个单元按照通信行业的业务分类讲述和训练,后两个单元选择宽带和移动语音业务进行强化训练;最后给出了12篇阅读材料,这些材料主要包括中国通信行业和通信公司简介,教材正文未涉及的、尚未或较少在我国通信行业出现的业务介绍,与外国客户交流的技巧和知识,用户协议。为方便老师教学,在人民邮电出版社网站上还配有课文的参考译文,供教师下载。《通信运营与管理专业英语教程》适用于通信运行专业学生、电信营业员、电信业务营销员、通信终端销售和移动营业员作为教材或培训教材使用。
