　　中国农业科学院国际合作局主要职责如下：负责组织开展全院国际合作战略研究，负责制定和修订国际合作规划、国际合作和外事管理有关规章制度并监督实行；负责我院与外国农业科研机构（大学）、国际组织、区域组织、非政府组织以及跨国公司、基金会、专业协会等私营部门的农业合作与交流；负责我院与香港特别行政区、澳门特别行政区的农业科技合作与交流；负责我院多、双边科技合作谅解备忘录、协议、合同的起草、报批及签署；负责我院多、双边国际合作项目的申报、立项、组织、实施与管理以及由我院发起的重大国际科学计划的策划与组织工作；负责我院国际合作平台（联合实验室或联合研究中心）和国际合作基地的管理工作，组织开展对拟建国际合作平台和基地的调研、谈判、申报和建设；负责与国内相关部委外事工作的联络与协商；负责海外智力与资源引进、合作工作；负责落实推动农业科技“走出去”相关工作；负责统筹协调院重大国际合作活动，包括院领导出访、接待国外重要代表团来访的组织工作，策划和组织召开重要国际、国内会议等；负责本院人员因公护照、赴港澳通行证等因公出国（境）证件、出国（境）签证（注）以及邀请外国人来华邀请信的申办与管理工作；负责国际组织和国外农业科研机构驻华代表处的业务联系及日常管理工作；负责管理全院涉外事务及外事服务，对院属各单位国际合作及外事活动进行业务指导与协调，负责指导我院外事宣传工作；负责领导和管理挂靠我院与国际农业科技合作相关的中国农业科技国际交流协会、合作协调机构秘书处、办公室和国家联系点等；承办上级与院领导交办的其他工作。
