内容简介

随着改革开放的不断深入和中国加入WTO，我国的国际交往日益频繁，社会上对英语口语人才的需求赵来越大，要求也越来越高。1999年11月，教育部正式批准在全国推行大学英语口语考试，顺应了这一要求，对切实提高大学生英语口语能力起到了推动作用。本书的编写目的就是通过丰富多样的课堂训练，营造积极活跃的练习气氛，培养学生学习英语的兴趣爱好，尽快提高他们的英语口语交际能力。本书是编者们长期口语教学的积累。在编写工作中，我们力求紧扣大学英语教学要求，针对大学英语大班教学的特点，在设计活动时做到精练而细腻，灵活而不乱。部分活动已在教学中使用过，效果良好。
