内容简介

良渚古城遗址成功申遗,承载着我们很多的期待。从考古业内,到关心着良渚古城的社会各界,都心心念念着良渚古城给大家带来的一次又一次惊喜。《良渚王国(英文版)》为2019年由浙江省文物考古研究所编纂的《良渚王国》的英文版,是围绕着古城遗址而展开的体量、涵盖全、进度的一册面向公众教育的公众读物。《良渚王国》是一本图说性质的读物,写作内容上也尽可能多地插入了一些考古故事。“图”是全书的主要素材,包括遗迹遗物照片,工作场景,遗址风光,考古绘图及插画。“说”是配合图片的解说文字,尽可能简洁、通俗地给出考古人目前对良渚古城的理解,向公众诠释了考古人如何通过种种已知论证一个未知文明的过程。当然,希望多的人慕名前去,现场感受五千年前良渚人所创造的物质文明给人带来的震撼。英文版的出版,可以帮助国外或境外读者了解良渚文化,了解良渚文明的特征及其形成过程,良渚王城的兴起和衰亡的历史过程。也可以让国外读者能加深入了解良渚文明在中国五千年文明史以及世界文明史上的地位和作用。
