  吉迪恩·图里,以色列特拉维夫大学(Tel Aviv University)专门从事翻译理论研究的教授,操纵学派的重要人物之一。主要著述有《翻译理论探索》(In Search of a Theory of Translation)、《描述翻译学及其他》(Descriptive Translation Studies and Beyond)两书以及多篇论文。
