　　袁树友（Yuan Shuyou），chief editor of the book， has been engaged in teaching， research and management in the field of surveying，mapping and navigation since he graduated from Zhengzhou Institute of Surveying and Mapping. He used to serve as a technician，teacher， vice chairman of the Chinese Society for Geodesy， Photogrammetry and Cartography， and commander-in-chief of the operation control and application system of BDS.He has won the first prize of National Science and Technology Progress Award and many other awards. He has organized the compilation of a number of professional books and published more than 40 research papers.
