作者简介

　　李晓东（1984年毕业于清华大学建筑系， 1989-1993（12月）年间在荷兰德尔富特大学建筑系及安德豪芬大学建筑学系做建筑理论研究工作， 获建筑学博士学位）， 曾任教新加坡国立大学建筑系（1997-2004）， 现任清华大学建筑学院教授. 多次获各类国际奖项， 其中， 2014年首届森山国际建筑奖，2012世界建筑节文化建筑大奖；2012美国建筑师协会荣誉院士；2010年获阿卡汉建筑大奖，亚洲建协建筑金奖，联合国教科文文化保护创新奖（UESCO Jury Award for Innovation）（2005）， 英国‘建筑回顾’一等奖，美国“建筑实录”中国建筑奖最佳公共建筑奖，及美国环境设计与研究协会年度最佳设计奖; 2001年获美国注册建筑师协会教师奖， 2000获英国皇家建筑师协会主席奖， 优秀教师奖. 研究领域包括文化理论， 美学， 建筑历史与理论， 在国内外发表学术论文近三十篇， 发表学术专著 3本。

内容简介

A catalyst for social change. The English Program for Master in Architecture was established in 2008 at the School of Architecture， in Tsinghua University. Our program's academic mission is an integral part of China's urbanization process. We combine the critical academic atmosphere with real-world issues that arise from the current process of rapid urbanization.Ours is one of the most culturally diverse programs in the world. Since 2008， We have received students from more than 50 countries， representing six continents， as an architectural united nations. Our program works as an open platform， a portal through which students can access all academic and professional resources in China， and in return， a catalyst for social change around the world.In 2018， EPMA was ranked top 5 best master programs of architecture in the World by BAM.
