From 2009 to 2012， due to the serious tomb theft on the top of Mount Dayun， Maba Town， Xuyi County， Jiangsu Province， with the approval of the National Cultural Heritage Administration， Nanjing Museum and the Museum of Xuyi County formed a joint archaeological team to carry out the exploration and rescue excavation of the tombs within the top area of Mount Dayun， revealing a well-preserved cemetery of Jiangdu King of the Western Han Dynasty， and with more than 10，000 pieces （sets） of exquisite cultural relics made of pottery， bronze， gold and silver， jade and lacquer unearthed.The central and northern parts of the cemetery have been confirmed as the area of attendant tombs， with a total of 11 tombs excavated.
