作者简介

　　俞可平，教授，政治学、哲学双学科博士生导师。现任中共中央编译局副局长、中央编译局比较政治与经济研究中心主任、北京大学中国政府创新研究中心主任，并任中央马克思主义理论研究和建设工程“马克思主义经典作基本观点研究”课题组首席专家、中国地方政府改革创新课题总负责人，兼任北京大学、清华大学、中国人民大学和复旦大学等校教授，曾任联合国政府创新咨询专家、美国杜克大学和德国柏林自由大学等校访问教授。主要研究领域：当代中国政治、政治哲学、比较政治、全球化、治理与善治、公民社会、政府创新等。

内容简介

《中国民主治理之路（英文版）》中，作者俞可平对中国民主政治将沿着哪三条路线稳定向前推进进行了深入的阐释。一，以党内民主带动社会民主。二，逐渐由基层向高层民主推进。三，从少的竞争到多的竞争。作者认为，能否从制度上保证民意的向背成为执政者权力去留的决定性因素，是“权为民所用”、“权为民所赋”和“权为民所有”的试金石，也是民主政治的试金石。依法治国正是民主国家的基础所在。
