失语症是神经语言学研究中的重要内容。自二战后,失语症的语法障碍研究在理论和方法方面成果丰硕,但同时也存在理论分歧和研究结果矛盾的问题。同时,汉语失语症的语言学研究基础比较薄弱,尚不确定失语程度对失语症患者语法的影响,也不确定失语症患者在语言康复过程中的语法变化。《Functional Category Deficits of Chinese Speakers with Agrammatic Aphasia (汉语语法缺失型失语症患者功能语类障碍研究)》系统梳理了汉语失语症语法障碍的理论和实证研究成果,设计了共时群组研究和历时追踪个案研究,以观察汉语布洛卡失语症患者功能语类的产出及康复过程。结果显示,句法树中的AspP/TP层级受损程度较轻,较高层级的CP及较低层级的vP受损严重,其中vP受损*重。现有假设无法完全解释研究结果,因此,《Functional Category Deficits of Chinese Speakers with Agrammatic Aphasia (汉语语法缺失型失语症患者功能语类障碍研究)》基于语段理论提出新假设,认为vP语段推导问题是根本原因。
